Developing full training courses is a very specialized skill. I fell in love with course development many years ago when I wrote my first course for a non-profit that was teaching English to Spanish-speaking migrant workers. The company (Telamon) commissioned me to write the English course after speaking at their national conference. The course was a huge success and I realized then that books and speeches could make a real impact on people but well-developed courses could transform people.
